YEM Finance Education

Ysgol Esgob Morgan is a small school based in Saint Asaph catering for just
over 100 learners aged 7-11. They joined the Young Enterprise Centres of Excellence financial education
programme in 2016 with the view to embed financial education across their entire curriculum. 8 years
on and the school continues to prioritise financial education.

“Continuing our financial education journey is so important to us because It allows us to teach
and deliver authentic lessons to our learners that they can relate to their real life situations. We
think they are important skills to learn for the wider world and world of work, getting them
ready to be confident, safe and responsible members of the community. It also contributes to
our curriculum’s 4 purposes, healthy and confident individuals, ambitious and capable
learners, creative and enterprising and ethically informed citizens”
