Welcome back—I hope you had a lovely half-term break. On the day of last half-term, we had the Sponsored Walk which raised £1304! Thank you so much.

This week has been a great start to the term. Such a wonderful celebration on Wednesday in celebration of the man after whom the school is named! We had TV companies, local luminaries such as the Mayor and members of our community visit the school. It was a joy watching the children interact with everybody so well. The feedback has been spectacular, and the whole school has been able to show off what it is all about.

Here we go, then, with the busiest, but most magical, term as Christmas is full steam ahead.
