Its no secret I am a fan of the TV show Dr Who. Every time the Doctor regenerates it changes the feel of the show. Same show, different energy. It’s the same with our school—we lose one year group to their high schools and gain a year group from their infant schools. All our children have taken to their new classes well. Same school, different energy. There has been a real positive feel to the start of the school year and I am looking forward to the terms ahead.

Speaking of positivity—it has been a brilliant start for attendance. Year 3 are at 98% and Year 4 have 99%. I really hope that this is a sign of how things will go. Please see later in my newsletter on the importance of good attendance. All classes are in the 90% bracket and our overall attendance is 94.1%. Even though it has only been 3 days I am taking the win!
