Happy PI day - I was devastated to be at the Primary Head Teachers conference in Llandudno today not least because I missed out on Pie!

Super impressed with those in Dosbarth Alwen who went on their first residential trip. It can be such a nerve wracking thing ...for the parents! The children were so confident in going away and it looked like they had enormous fun. Thank you for letting us take them and thank you to Miss Grindal who came back to take them away for the 2 days.

I hope the new menu is going down well as it seems to be a hit with the children. Naturally, as Head, I have to taste all the food! I must say that this menu is really tasty. So far I have really enjoyed the burger, and this week the chicken pasta bake. Hopefully we can , one day soon, put on a join your child for lunch day so you can see for yourselves how nice the food is. Remember, all primary school pupils are entitled to a free school lunch.

Good luck to all our URDD competitors this weekend. It really is amazing that pupils and staff are willing to give up their free time to represent our school.

Please check the clubs timetable for next week as staffing means we have had to have a mix around and cancel some.
